Carmelita N. Young, LPC
Carmelita received both her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Carmelita creates a warm and welcoming environment for women and couples to heal and learn new coping mechanisms to cope with life’s trials and tribulations. Carmelita uses a multitude of counseling techniques, such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Based modalities along with life-coaching approaches. Which help support those who struggle with communication, conflict management, depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, women’s issues and self-esteem. In her spare time Carmelita enjoys singing, volunteering, cooking, reading and spending time with family and friends.
