    If you are new to therapy, here are some common questions. We are always happy to answer any questions that you may have, if your question is not listed. Please click the link below and we will provide you with the information you are seeking.
    Do you provide Telehealth Counseling?

    Yes, our therapist provide psychotherapy using a HIPPA compliant video platform. The therapist uses the same techniques and therapies that they would have used in person; while engaging with the client via the video platform.

    What kind of services do you provide?

    We provide outpatient mental health and substance abuse counseling.

    What can I expect from my first session?

    The initial session(s) focuses on conducting a comprehensive psycho-social assessment of the client’s history and current symptoms. This is conducted in order to get an understanding of how the client’s circumstances are impacting their ability to function day to day. This process allows for the therapist to determine an appropriate course of treatment using effective strategies.

    Do you work with insurance companies?

    Yes, we work with a plethora of Medicaid and commercial insurance companies. Please visit our About Us page for a list of insurance companies.

    What are your fees and what form of payment do you accept?

    The cost of therapy at Peace & Harmony Counseling Services, LLC ranges from $150.00-$250.00 per session. We also offer a sliding scale fee as well, to help provide services for those who are uninsured. We currently accept check, money order, debit or credit card. A credit card will be kept on file in our secure portal to pay for your sessions, deductibles, co-pays and no show fees.

    Is counseling confidential?

    We comply with all HIPPA (The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 Privacy Rule) guidelines. You will be asked to read these guidelines prior to your first appointment. The information you provide on paper and during your sessions is not shared with any other office or agency unless you have signed a “Release of Information” form allowing your information to be shared with an outside agency or individual.
