Clinical Internship

We are looking to hire a Clinical Intern. This position requires a minimum of 16 hours per week, M-F schedule with two evenings (required). The ideal candidate will provide counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults under the supervision of our clinical leadership team. We are currently accepting interns in Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy programs. 

The ideal candidate will provide counseling services to their preferred population as we service children, adolescents, and adults who are seeking mental health and substance abuse services. The Clinical Intern will establish a positive rapport with their client, diagnosis, and treat mental health disorders in adults, children, families, and couples under the supervision of their assigned Supervisor. 

• Work with children, adolescents, or adults to address psychological and emotional challenges 
• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders 
• Work with Clinical Director, CEO and other therapists on staff to coordinate services 
• Refer clients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary 
• Conduct ongoing assessment of clients’ progress in EHR system 
• Ensure quality services are provided 
• Participate in monthly clinical meetings and weekly supervision meetings 
• Provide evidence-based and culturally competent care 
• Deliver trainings and workshops as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:

• Complete administrative paperwork within 24 hours of meeting with the client
• Complete quarterly assessments  
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Enrolled in a Masters program in counseling, social work, psychology or other mental health field.

Job Type: Part-time, Hybrid or In-Person

Salary: $20.00 per hour 

Schedule: Flexible schedule Monday to Friday
