Job Type: Full-Time (28-32 hours per week)
Salary: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday with four evenings required

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team and provide high-quality, evidence-based care to our diverse client population.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will provide therapy services to their preferred population as we serve children, adolescents, and adults seeking support for mental health and substance use concerns. The therapist will establish a positive rapport with clients, diagnose and treat mental health disorders, and provide individualized, culturally competent, and trauma-informed care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and/or couples counseling
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders using evidence-based interventions
- Work collaboratively with the Clinical Director, CEO, and other therapists to coordinate services
- Refer clients to external specialists or community resources when necessary
- Conduct ongoing assessments and treatment planning using our EHR system
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care
- Participate in monthly clinical meetings to support professional growth and collaboration
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional guidelines
Administrative Duties
- Complete session notes and documentation within 24 hours
- Conduct quarterly progress assessments to ensure client progress and treatment effectiveness
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field
At least one year of clinical experience (trauma-informed care preferred)
Active licensure in Michigan (LPC, LMSW, LP, LLC, or LLMSW)
Preferred Qualifications
Training or certification in TF-CBT, DBT, EMDR, or Brainspotting
Experience working with diverse populations and co-occurring disorders
