Ilham Muthanna, LLMSW

Ilham received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Sciences from University of Michigan-Dearborn and her Masters in Interpersonal Social Work from Wayne State University. Ilham is fluent in both Arabic and English. She enjoys fostering positive change in individuals, families, and couples. As she truly believes that building strong relationships paves the way for understanding the patient’s needs, thus helping her understand how to go about providing treatment for them. Ilham has worked with individuals on behavior modification, family stress as well as relationship concerns. Her theoretical approach is eclectic and integrative to the needs of her patients, often utilizing; Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness Based Practices. As, the therapeutic services she offers shows her commitment to providing a safe, supportive, and culturally sensitive mental health therapy experience.
